The Shop

The Folded Page opened in 2019 in a narrow Georgian shopfront in Stockbridge, Edinburgh. Nora Sutherland opened it after fifteen years in publishing, with a conviction that most bookshops were trying to be too many things to too many people. We stock around 4,000 titles — every one chosen. Bewick, our tabby, sits on whatever you're trying to read.

Book Club & Author Events

Our book club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30pm. It is currently at capacity — but we maintain a waiting list.
