Leith

The Leith shop is the one people discover by accident, usually while walking along The Shore looking for somewhere to have lunch. It is larger than Stockbridge, which means the shelves are slightly less precarious, and there is room for a small reading table near the window.

Leith has a stronger focus on translated fiction and Scottish writing — two things that, in our view, do not get nearly enough shelf space anywhere else. If you are looking for something in Norwegian, Polish, or Gaelic, this is your best bet. If you are not sure what you are looking for, the staff will have opinions.
